1. Place carefully. Make sure the pad is placed correctly to ensure comfort and reduce the possibility of leaks. Read the instructions and use the adhesive that sticks to the inside of the underwear to ensure a secure fit.

2. Change the urine bag. There is no hard and fast rule for when to change the urine bag, but changing it at least twice a day is best. Signs to change the urine bag include feeling that the urine bag is "full" and close to maximum capacity, or when you want to freshen it. This also depends on what type of incontinence you have. For example, after urinary incontinence, if you only leak a few drops of urine, you may not need to change it immediately, but functional incontinence may cause the entire bladder to empty, so it needs to be changed immediately. Once you start using the product, you will quickly develop a schedule that works for you and your condition.

3.Dispose of the protector. Used protectors and pants can be rolled up and thrown directly into the trash. If there is solid stool, throw it into the toilet first. If you go out, you may want to place the used protector in an opaque plastic bag to be more discreet. Never try to flush incontinence products down the toilet - otherwise it will clog the drain.
